As we enter into our summer classes at Kinderdance, we want to remind our families why uniforms are an important part of our program.
Last week, I had many students forget their leotards, shoes, and Kindergym attire. I took a moment with each of my teachers to remind them exactly why we work BEST with uniforms.
Remember the kids in school who would continually forget their calculators for math class? Or their textbook?
Children often take this lack of preparedness as an excuse to "check out" in class. I notice this happening frequently with students who forget their uniform.
From a young age, we slowly teach children how to be accountable.
Kinderdance teaches children responsibility by requiring them to change into uniform.
It's not just for looks!
The leotard and tights help instructors find and enhance the quality of movement and correct from there. Soft and flexible shoes help our children exercise the muscles of the feet so that they learn how to point and flex from the ankle.
When your child does not bring the proper uniform to class, they can fall behind in learning crucial developmental skills, and even learn bad habits.
We want to prepare your children for success now AND later in life.
Have a great week!
